What We Do
At The Old School Movement, we create space for real connection through honest questions and meaningful conversations.
We invite youths to submit heartfelt questions about identity, emotion, and belonging. Then, we share those questions with thoughtful individuals—often elders in the community—who respond with wisdom, story, and lived experience. These conversations become the heart of our podcast and community dialogue.
Our goal is simple but powerful:
to rebuild community through the art of listening, storytelling, and emotional truth.
This movement is about slowing down, tuning in, and reconnecting—across generations, backgrounds, and beliefs. Whether you’re 15 or 95, your voice matters. Your story matters. Your questions matter.
Together, we’re bringing back what our culture has forgotten:
real connection, rooted in authenticity.
How We Do This
We turn real questions into real conversations that connect people and rebuild community.
Here’s how it works:
1. You Ask
We invite young people—and anyone with a genuine, heartfelt question—to submit what’s on their mind. These questions can be about identity, emotions, relationships, purpose… anything real.
2. We Listen
We take these questions to thoughtful individuals who respond with honesty, warmth, and lived experience. Their answers aren’t scripted or polished—they’re human, vulnerable, and full of truth.
3. We Share
These powerful exchanges become episodes of our podcast and stories we share across platforms—sparking conversation, reflection, and deeper connection in the broader community.
4. We Build Together
Through partnerships with schools, businesses, and community organizations, we bring these conversations offline—into classrooms, living rooms, and community spaces where listening and connection matter most.
5. And Beyond
The Old School Movement has the potential to become more than a podcast.
It’s a cultural shift—back to empathy, authenticity, and belonging.
